DIC International is seeking a Group Discussion Facilitator.

Qualifications
  • Native English speaker
  • 1-5 years of relevant experience
  • Strong English skills with the ability to engage effectively with ALTs in the JET Programme
  • Experience in team teaching in English or conducting English education training for schools
  • Have a laptop PC to record participants’ comments during the session.
Job details We are looking for experienced JET ALTs who can work as Group Discussion Facilitators for incoming ALTs working in the Tokyo area. This project pays 30,000 yen per day with actual facilitation time being less than 4 hours each day.

Topic: Sharing Experiences and Addressing Challenges Faced as an ALT

Target Audience: Groups of 10 Assistant Language Teachers (ALTs) from approximately 200 ALTs working in Tokyo Metropolitan Junior and Senior High Schools

Schedule:
December 11 (Wednesday) and/or
December 16 (Monday)

Time:
8:30-17:00 (icluding one hour lunch break)

Note 1: teachers who will be chosen as facilitators will be asked to participate in a pre-meeting/orientation by the client (around 60-90 minutes, online). Bring a laptop PC to keep a record of what participants have said during discussions and submit it to the company later.

Location: A rental conference room in central Tokyo

Note 2: 20 facilitators required

Compensation ¥30,000 per day
Transportation: Reimbursed at actual cost (Limitations exist)
